  • Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex (Accepts film from only New Jersey)

    Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Saturday by appointment only

    Tipping Fee: $20 per ton

    Drop-off Requirements: 
    · Film must be rolled into manageable bundles for ease of loading and unloading
    · If grower chooses to tie the bundle (not required), the tie must be made of greenhouse or nursery film.
    · Material must be free from all debris including wood, shrink wrap, nails and any other material foreign to said film.
    · Film that is dirty or not properly prepared will be rejected.
    · Additional services are available on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Authority with specific needs.

    Prior to delivery of the film, all growers must call the Cumberland County Improvement Authority to establish an account with the Authority. Growers using a licensed solid waste hauler must inform the Authority prior to delivery in an effort to maintain proper billing and documentation.

  • Agricultural Recycling Services, Inc.

    Growers may recycle a wide variety of agricultural plastics at a New Jersey location. This recycling opportunity may help all facets of New Jersey agriculture including, but not limited to, livestock producers, fruit and vegetable growers, nursery and greenhouse operations, in their recycling efforts and potentially reduce their trash disposal costs.

    Drop Off Location and Hours:

    Monday -- Friday 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Saturday -- 7 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

    • Film must be rolled into manageable bundles.
    • Please shake the plastics and remove all the soil, plant material, twine, etc.
    • If bundles are tied they must be tied with greenhouse or nursery film.
    • Material must be free from debris, dirt and moisture and if possible stored out of the sun and rain. If they need to be stored outside please cover with plastic.
    • Comingled Loads will be accepted but must be segregated.
    • Trucking Services available, please contact us.
