TRENTON,
NJ--- Michael Brooks (left), State President,
and Erin Zukus, State Vice President of the New
Jersey FFA Association, were two of more than
100 state FFA officers who gathered in Washington,
DC, July 23 through 29 to strengthen their skills
in leadership and citizenship and discuss national
FFA business as part of the National FFA State
Presidents' Conference. Brooks and Zukus met
with Congressman Frank A. Lobiondo (R-2) to discuss
issues concerning New Jersey agriculture and
agricultural education. FFA is a national organization
that prepares students enrolled in agricultural
education for future careers. FFA makes a positive
difference in the lives of students by developing
their potential for premier leadership, personal
growth, and career success.
