OTHER FUNDING SOURCES - FEDERAL GRANT PROGRAMS
|NASA Marslink Initiative|
|To bring one of the most current NASA mission into classrooms across the country. It is one of the first programs designed specifically for the Internet, support by standards-based online curricula and providing an interactive program focusing on science, math and technology. Marslink was developed by Space Explorers, Inc., in conjunction with Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and NASA.
Eligibility:One school in each congressional district will be selected for the project.
Funding:The project is funded by $75,000 in matching grant money from NASA. NASA pays $275 of the $500 overall cost, leaving $225 to be paid by the school or through other sponsorship.
