Notice is hereby given that the State of NJ intends to enter into the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) contract for “Facility Security Equipment Systems and Services with Related Equipment, Supplies and Accessories". The State of NJ anticipates joining the NJPA contract in the July-August 2010 timeframe. ``Under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2, the State of NJ is authorized to join nationally-recognized cooperative purchasing agreements. The Director has reviewed and approved the specifications and terms of the of the NJPA contract and has determined that this is the most cost-effective method of procurement.``Note: the comment period ends with the close of business on 08/06/10
