TRENTON, N.J. -Enjoying one of Mercer County's park amenities is easier than ever for residents as most facilities are now accepting credit cards.

Residents can now use their MasterCard or Visa as well as cash for paying for everything from ice skating to tennis to participating in summer athletic leagues.

"Residents and their families can now enjoy their favorite activity without a trip to the ATM," said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. "This is something our residents have asked for and deserve. We're continuing our promise to make our parks facilities better and more accessible than they have ever been."

Credit card payments are now accepted at the Boat Marina on Lake Mercer, the Skating Center, and for active recreation leagues and fields, all in Mercer County Park, and the County's Equestrian Center in Hopewell Township and the Tennis Center in Ewing.

All four Park Commission-run golf courses-Mercer Oaks East and West courses in West Windsor, Mountain View Golf Course in Ewing, and the Princeton Country Club-already accept credit cards.
