TRENTON, N.J. -Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes and the Mercer County Park Commission announced today that Mercer County-resident golfers wishing to renew their ID cards can now do so online by visiting http://mercercounty.e-golf.net/play/eg_home.show_form
In addition to the online identification card renewals, an updated Web site is being developed and will be launched in the coming weeks. The new site will offer easier navigation, updated information, and the ability for users to register to have e-newsletters, special announcements and golf specials delivered to their "in box."
"Our Mercer County golf programs and facilities just keep getting better, and we are so pleased to be able to offer this simple and convenient upgrade to our registration process," Hughes said.
Kevin Bannon, Executive Director of the Park Commission, agrees. "We are happy to add this additional service for our more than 8,000 loyal resident golfers. This makes the renewal process easier than ever by allowing card holders to renew their IDs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Playing golf is enough of a challenge; we wanted to make membership renewal easy!"
Any new registrant must register in person at any of the three golf sites and provide documentation of residency. A full description of those requirements can be found on the Web site. Renewed card holders who register online may be asked to provide proof of residency upon their first visit to the facility. The cost to renew is $30 and VISA and MasterCard are accepted.
