TRENTON, N.J.—Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes is proud to announce the County will again hold winter tennis lessons at the new Indoor Tennis Center at Mercer County Park.
The state-of-the-art facility is fully heated and features six courts primed to host tennis year round. The 2010 Winter Tennis Lesson Program registration for lessons in January and February for all ages and levels of play will be offered online only starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at https://register.communitypass.net/mercer. Registration is online only and cannot be conducted by phone or in person.
“If you’re an avid player or want to get back into the swing of things with some lessons, just log on, sign up and start playing,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes.
All classes will be held at the new Indoor Tennis Center. Classes are available for all age groups and ability levels. Age groups include: Pee Wee (5-7 years old); Junior (7-9 year olds); Junior (10-12 year olds); Junior (13 and up); Junior (high school); Futures; Adult Happy Hour Beginner Lessons; Adult Punisher Drill and Play; Adult Boot Camp; Adult Power Hour; and Adult Daytime Drill and Play.
All classes are offered at multiple times except Boot Camp and Power Hour. The winter lessons are offered in four-week sessions which begin January 4, 2010 and last until February 27. Players who do not have their own racket, balls or equipment can borrow equipment from the County for the lessons.
