TRENTON, N.J.—A neighborhood workshop will be held May 24 for residents to explain the benefits of Mercer County’s free Weatherization Assistance Program.
The Weatherization Assistance Program, which is administered by the County’s Housing and Community Development Office, can offer qualifying homeowners and some renters grants in order to cut down on residential energy costs.
Energy conservation measures taken may include but are not limited to heating system repair or replacement, insulation, caulking, hot water jacket, water heater repairs or replacement, weather stripping, fluorescent lighting, carbon monoxide detecting, or replacement of refrigerator or other appliances.
To receive this free community service, interested persons are invited to attend the workshop:
