TRENTON, N.J. - Mercer County has issued the updated second printing of the booklet, “Preparing for Emergencies, What You Need to Know”.

The booklet contains practical information to help residents and families to prepare for an emergency or disaster. Included in the booklet is specific information pertaining to Mercer County, checklists, safety tips and a reminder of the general advice in an emergency to “Go In, Stay In, Tune In”.

“Mercer County is continually working to make sure people are as prepared and ready as can be in the event of an emergency.” said County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “By being informed and prepared, people can significantly reduce the risk to life and property.”

Copies have been distributed this week to all Mercer County Library branches and the County Connection office in Hamilton in addition to the County Administration building on South Broad Street in Trenton and are free of charge.
