HAMILTON, N.J. - The Mercer County Office of Veterans Affairs will host a workshop Thursday, May 10, at the County Connection office in Hamilton to educate area veterans about the various benefits available to them. Chief of Veterans Affairs Edward Mazzeo will be on hand from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Also available will be informational literature covering a variety of topics, including memorial services and recognitions, substance abuse prevention and treatment, mental health counseling, residential resources for veterans in transition, rehabilitative services, transportation resources for veterans with physical disabilities, and more. Mazzeo will assist veterans who have encountered difficulties in securing essential services. Carol Paprocki of Samaritan Healthcare and Veterans Hospice Outreach will be available for information regarding services to veterans offered by that organization.
