Requirements:
  • Complete Notary Application form - For a downloadable notary application, click here  Forms are also available by calling 609-989-6467. 
    (Note: you need Acrobat Reader to download this form.)
  • Prospective notaries must have their applications signed by a legislator, then sent to the Secretary of State with a $25.00 application fee.
  • Once the Notary Commission is returned (yellow and white certificates), notaries must appear in the County Clerk’s Office to register. The fee to register a Notary Commission is $15.00.

County Clerk Certification:

  • County Clerk certificates of good standing for Notaries Public of New Jersey may be obtained from the Mercer County Clerk’s Office. There is a $5.00 fee for each certificate.

The Mercer County Clerk, Paula Sollami Covello, Esq. is pleased to announce the schedule for Notary Public Registration/Renewals at The Mercer County Connection - Satellite Office for the Year 2013.

Notaries will be processed from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm on the First Thursday of each month on:
