Executive Director of Administration and Training
The Division of Administration and Training is responsible for the following areas:
Employee Advisory Service (EAS): EAS provides professional referrals services and counseling to State employees and their dependents who are dealing with personal, family or work-related issues that may be adversely impacting work performance.
Office of Facilities and Support Services: This office is responsible for day to day operations and logistics at CSC. Tasks include building management, fleet management, access and security, and mailing.
Office of Finance: This office is responsible for all aspects of financial resources and internal control. Main tasks include: budget analysis and control, accounting, expenses, cash management, and financial reporting.
Office of Graphic Design, Printing Service and Forms Control: This office is responsible for the design, production, and procurement of the various publications, forms and related materials used by the CSC.
Office of Human Resources: This office provides a wide range of human resources services for staff within the Civil Service Commission. This includes organization planning and design, recruitment, hiring, promotion, classification, compensation, employee development, performance appraisal, payroll, timekeeping, leave administration, and health benefits. Division of Information Technology and Management: ITM is responsible for information technology related operations, including network and architecture, new and existing systems and applications, information technology and training, project management, telephone operations, maintenance, and support.
Office of Training: The Office of Training is pleased to be partnering with the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development to deliver a variety of classroom training programs for state and local government employees. As an alternative to classroom training, e-learning is also available to agencies and their employees, through the Learning Management System (LMS), and provides a fast and efficient way to educate staff with the latest software.
