GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Examine plans of proposed structures for compliance with local, state & county regulations, reads plans, consults with professionals regarding compliance problems; conducts field inspections to ensure compliance with zoning regulations & may take appropriate enforcement action against violators. Prepares reports. May assist in the promulgation of zoning regulations.  Maintains & establishes essential records.

 
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Three years of experience in the preparation and revision of building construction plans & specifications or in the fulltime inspection and enforcement of zoning and/or building construction laws and regulations.

 
 
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

NJ Driver's License
