Introduction:












The NJ Department of Community Affairs’ Main Street New Jersey (MSNJ) Program has directly and indirectly provided technical assistance and training to designated MSNJ communities, districts and stakeholders since 1990. Please see the MSNJ website and its 20th Anniversary Report (www.mainstreetnewjersey.com) for a comprehensive history and context of the MSNJ program and its local designees.

MSNJ is closing its 25th year of supporting local Main Street programs and efforts with comprehensive technical assistance and training, and is seeking to obtain a formal metrics-based analysis of the economic development results over its program history through the present day.

Summary:




The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs' Main Street New Jersey Program (MSNJ) is seeking qualifications and proposals from well-qualified firms to implement a 25-Year Economic Impact Analysis. This asessment service is needed to codify the value of the State and local participating designated Main Street programs.
