The New Jersey Advisory Commission on the Status of Women (NJACSW) was created in 1974 to act as an advisor and advocate for New Jersey women of all races and creeds. Working with the New Jersey Division on Women, we are committed to addressing the critical concerns and issues confronting New Jersey women.
The NJACSW is a diverse group of dynamic, talented women and is composed of eleven members appointed by the Governor. Each Commission member is committed to raising questions, seeing solutions, supporting initiatives, and providing voluntary service to enhance the lives of women.
