U.S. Mail IssueOn September 11, a U.S. Postal Service truck carrying mail from zip codes beginning with 070 to 076, 078, 079, 088 and 089 had its cargo permanently damaged in a crash. This mail was on its way to a number of state agencies, including the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA). If you are from the identified zip codes and sent mail to the DCA between September 7 and September 10, you may call (609) 292-6420 for assistance if you believe your mail was not received. New Jersey HomeKeeper Program Assists New Jersey Homeowners At Risk of ForeclosureNew Jersey HomeKeeper provides financial assistance to New Jersey homeowners at risk of foreclosure as direct result of unemployment or underemployment. The assistance is in the form of a 0% interest rate, deferred-payment mortgage loan of up to $48,000 for eligible homeowners. Go to the link above to see if you might be eligible for the program.
