On November 19, 2009, CYBER version 1.2 was released. Among the new features and fixes that are available in this new version are:
Security
- A new login screen.
- To enhance security throughout the system, user accounts will be locked after 3 incorrect attempts to login. Security Administrators have the ability to unlock any account within their organization (see the Frequently Asked Questions for the step-by-step process). If a Security Administrator is locked out, that person should contact the PerformCare service desk to have his or her account unlocked.
Face Sheet
- When a new Living Situation is added, the end date for other living situations already entered no longer changes.
Searching
- When a user initiates a search for a child, all buttons remain disabled (grayed out) until all of the data in the record loads. This prevents users from encountering errors as they try to navigate records before a child’s full record has loaded.
Treatment Plans/Assessments
- Treatment Plans and Assessments no longer disappear.
- The name of the Author no longer changes on Treatment Plans and Assessments if a user clicks any of the tabs on the left side of the page.
- CYBER auto-populates Treatment Plans and Assessments with demographics from the face sheet, including the name of the last Case Management entity to be entered in the Tracking Elements tab and the name of the last Case/Care Manger to be entered in the Providers tab. Users must update demographic information in the Face Sheet to have accurate information in Treatment Plans and Assessments.
YouthLink
- All users who need to have access to YouthLink should now have access to that function and be able to filter by appropriate locations.
Miscellaneous
- All “Under Construction” popup boxes can now be closed by a red “x” button located in the upper right part of the window.
- The overall performance of CYBER has been improved. Load times for all forms including Searches, Assessments, Treatment Plans and YouthLink have been significantly reduced.
These updates address some of the issues that have been occurring with CYBER. We will continue to update CYBER with fixes and enhancements as they become available.
If you experience issues with CYBER and need assistance, please contact the Service Desk at 877-652-7624 or by email at servicedesk@performcarenj.org
PerformCare’s New Website for CYBER Training
PerformCare has created a new website for providers to register for all future Web-based and Classroom CYBER training sessions. The website can be accessed via the following link: http://www.performcarenj.org/NJTraining/
CYBER IIC Pilot Program
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of the New Jersey System of Care, DCBHS will soon be launching a pilot program involving approximately 50 Intensive In-Community (IIC) providers. Participants in the 5 day pilot will be given access to CYBER so that they can electronically submit the Biopsychosocial with Needs Assessments to the CSA for authorization, view authorizations, and input progress notes. The feedback we receive from participants in the pilot will help ensure that all of the CYBER functionality specific to IICs is working properly before CYBER access is given to all IIC providers, which will occur shortly after the conclusion of the pilot. Thanks to all of the providers who have agreed to participate in the pilot program.
