September 2014 marks the eleventh annual National Preparedness Month, sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the US Department of Homeland Security. Throughout September there will be activities across the country to promote emergency preparedness. The New Jersey Department of Children and Families supports emergency preparedness efforts and encourages all New Jerseyans, especially children and families, to take action.
