May 9, 2012: Below are notes of the bags of garbage Plumsted Township staff and I removed from Colliers Mills WMA. We hauled it way and either recycled it at our center or disposed of in our township dumpsters. Also you can view photos of ours on our facebook page: Plumsted Township Environmental Commission.
- 20 garbage bags (33gl) of recyclables
- 16 garbage bags (33gl) of non recyclable material
- 1 floor- construction debris and decking
- 1 tire, 1 oil filter, and several buckets

A Big Thank You and Awesome Job to Plumsted Township for coming together and helping to create a better environment in the Colliers Mill Wildlife Management Area.
Over 30 people helped to collect over 25 bags of recylced material and trash.
A special thank you to Peter Ylvisaker and William Lewis for heading-up numerous volunteers, inlcuding school groups from the area.
In addition, I wanted to thank Bev Vienckowski for volunteering her time, along with her hard-working llamas Carbon and Jim-E, for carrying bags of cans and bottles on their backs.
