Prior to this appointment, Mr. Wolfe was an Environmental Policy Manager for the Public Service Enterprise Group, the parent company of NJ's largest electric and gas utility and largest independent power producer. In this position, he worked on state and federal legislative and regulatory developments and resolved difficult environmental permitting and enforcement issues with regulatory agencies. He also worked with PSEG facilities to develop engineering and regulatory solutions to air pollution compliance problems. He developed corporate guidance on environmental regulatory issues, and led environmental due diligence efforts on potential facility acquisitions and projects under development. Mr. Wolfe also worked as an attorney for the environmental and land use law firm Bennett and Yoskin, where he litigated and negotiated settlements of air pollution, water pollution, and solid waste enforcement cases. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wolfe worked for the Department of Environmental Protection in a number of positions including staff attorney in the solid waste program, Administrative Practice Officer managing development of all DEP regulations, Enforcement Manager, Special Assistant to the Commissioner, and advisor to the air pollution control programs. Mr. Wolfe holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
