The Division of Water Quality recently announced that fourteen (14) engineering firms have qualified for the Engineer Recognition Program, as part of the Expedited Treatment Works Program. This is based on data from the past three State Fiscal years (2000-2002). The goal of this program is to reduce review time on minor permits (30 days or less) by increased reliance on a P.E. Certification. The certification requires professional engineers to attest to the application's administrative and technical completeness.
