Having compliance problems? Can't figure out why performance is suffering? In need of training for your plant operators? These issues and many more can be addressed through the Bureau of Construction and Connection Permit's technical assistance program. The program targets publicly owned treatment plants (POTWs) up to 5 million gallons per day design capacity with discharges to either surface or ground water.
The technical service provided includes:
diagnostic evaluations to determine the cause(s) of performance or compliance problems;
training/assistance program for performance improvement or compliance achievement;
on-site technical assistance and training to operators experiencing operation and maintenance problems; and
follow-up visits to monitor performance or compliance improvement and provide additional training and assistance.
Although technical assistance is intended to identify both problems that can be solved with on-site help and training, and those that require equipment upgrades, it is more directed toward solving operation and maintenance problems. If you are interested in the technical assistance program, please contact Chris Hoffman of the Bureau of Construction and Connection Permits at (609) 984-4429. (Note: The program is without charge.)
