The yellow Notice of Authorization form for Treatment Works Approvals (TWAs) was eliminated effective January 1, 1996. This form, which was mailed to permittees along with a TWA document, was required to be conspicuously posted at construction sites. However, since local building code officials are required to verify the issuance of all necessary construction approvals prior to granting a building permit, it was felt that the TWA Authorization was redundant. As a result, the Bureau of Construction and Connection Permits has ceased the issuance of this form. If you have any questions regarding this action, please contact the bureau at (609) 984-4429.
