DEP publishes guide to prevent water pollution

The DEP recently published a booklet for homeowners offering tips on identifying and preventing the various sources of water pollution around the home. Entitled The Clean Water Book: Lifestyle Choices to Protect Water Resources, the guide covers many different topics, including lawn and garden care, underground storage tanks, protecting shorelines, animal waste, septic systems, car care, boating, and household hazardous waste.

The cost of the Clean Water Book is $4 each for fewer than 12 copies and $2 per booklet for 12 or more. To place an order, please write to:
