DEP extends comment period on rules

The DEP extended the comment period on four rule proposals aimed at reforming the state's water resource management program by 60 days. Changes to the NJPDES rules (N.J.A.C. 7:14A), the Water Quality Management Planning rules (N.J.A.C. 7:15), the Surface Water Quality Standards (N.J.A.C. 7:9B), and the Water Pollution Control Act rules were originally proposed February 5, 1996 with a 90 day comment period to conclude on May 5, 1996. With the 60 day extension, the comment period on the rules will now end on July 5, 1996.
