PVSC recognizes industries for total permit
compliance
On March 26, 1996, the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners (PVSC) celebrated its first annual Permit Award Program. The program was developed to recognize permittees that operated pretreatment facilities from January 1 through December 31, 1995, without incurring a reporting or effluent violation. These companies pretreat wastewater prior to conveying it, through sewer lines, to the PVSC for further treatment.
