SIIA Grants Awarded for Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO)

Planning and design grants were recently awarded to several CSO projects under the Sewage Infrastructure Improvement Act. The projects involve the elimination of dry weather overflows and reduction of solids/floatables discharged by CSOs. The following projects received planning grants:

Borough of Fort Lee $112,050

City of Camden $987,410

Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners $2,235,928

The Jersey City Sewerage Authority received a design grant for the preparation of plans and specifications in the amount of $2,910,626.
