Rutgers to Offer Industrial Plant Operations Courses

The State Operator Training Center located at Cook College, Rutgers University, is offering courses for industrial plant electrical operations. The series of classes include a thorough, basic understanding of electrical motors, meters, controllers, and pumps. The classes are as follows:

Electric Motors and Meters (1 day)September 25, 1998
Motor Control Circuits: From Wiring to Troubleshooting (3 days)October 14 - 16, 1998 (Hands-on Training)
Variable Frequency Drives (1 day)November 19, 1998
Operation and Maintenance of Pumps Workshop (3 days)December 16 -18, 1998 (Hands-on Training)
Instrumentation for the Water Industry (1 day)January 13, 1999
Instrumentation for the Wastewater Industry (1 day)January 14, 1999
