USEPA Region 2 Awards Program
EPA is always looking for first-class municipal wastewater treatment plants for its Regional Award Programs. This is a great opportunity for you and your staff to get recognized for the time and effort you put into running your facilities. There are nine categories of awards for O&M Excellence and four categories of awards for the Beneficial Use of Biosolids (sludge).
There's no reason why New Jersey's municipal wastewater treatment plants should take a back seat to the rest of the country. But the state can't showcase what's been accomplished unless you put forth an effort to submit a regional application which, could lead to a national award.
Applications will not be available until January 1999, but don't wait. Call the following Regional Coordinators now to ensure you receive an application:
Regional O&M Excellence Awards
John C. Mello (212) 637-3836
Regional Beneficial Use of Biosolids Awards
Alia Roufaeal (212) 637-3864
