Rutgers University Courses Offered

Water and Wastewater Short Courses

Attention operators, supervisors, lab technicians, consultants, and managers of water and wastewater facilities: Keep your career on track and your knowledge up-to-date with the following courses offered through the State Operator Training Center, located on the Cook College campus of Rutgers University. Continuing Education Units (CEU's) are available to all attendees and, as noted below, courses have been submitted for approval for Certified Public Works Manager (CPWM) and/or New Jersey Health Officer credits.

Electrical Courses

Do you use electrical equipment such as switches, pumps, and motors at your facility? Are the people operating this equipment as knowledgeable as they should be-about both the equipment and the safe work practices required around electrical equipment? Have you had lost valuable production time because no one could efficiently troubleshoot or correct an electrical problem?

The State Operator Training Center is now offering its highly popular Electrical Series. This series of courses addresses the basic theories of operation and maintenance of equipment used in industrial and commercial operations. These classes offer the information needed to keep your facility operating efficiently and safely.

For all of the above listed course offerings, reduced tuition fees are available to individuals registering for two or more classes or two or more persons from the same organization registering for an individual class. Call 732-932-9271 for a brochure or visit the Rutgers University web site at www.cook.rutgers.edu/~ocpe.
