| A Newsletter About New Jersey's Water Quality Programs |
On February 15, 2000, staff of the Bureau of Nonpoint Pollution Control will present a seminar entitled: "Implementing New Jersey's Ground Water Protection Program." The seminar will be given through the Office of Continuing Professional Education at Cook College, Rutgers University.
This course will provide both a detailed introduction to the applicable New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES) rules and detailed training on how to develop and implement a Ground Water Protection Plan (GWPP) as a component of a NJPDES permit. With the GWPP approach, a regulated facility demonstrates its discharge of pollutants does not contravene the state Ground Water Quality Standards. Contact the Rutgers University Office of Continuing Professional education at (732) 932-9271 for additional information.
