Treatment Works Seminar Scheduled

A Treatment Works Approval Seminar will be held on December 6, 2000 in New Brunswick. Part of the Cook College DEP Permit Series, this half-day seminar will focus on the Treatment Works Approval (TWA) program, including the General Industrial and expedited TWA programs. Personnel from the Municipal Finance and Construction Element will discuss when a TWA is required for construction projects and the applicable criteria for such permits. They will also address the administrative and technical design requirements for a TWA application.

In addition, the seminar will include the capacity assurance, combined sewer overflow, and sewer connection ban programs. Exemptions to sewer bans, dry sewer permits, and holding tanks will also be discussed.
