Bear Education Seminar Certifications On File As Of July, 2010 Hunters interested in participating in the fall, 2010, bear season must have completed a Bear Hunter Education Seminar prior to obtaining a permit. (To apply for the permit only a current valid hunting license is required; to actually pick up the permit the bear seminar certification MUST be in the customer profile.) A list of customer profiles, identified by Conservation ID Numbers (CID#), which contain the certifications from 2003, 2005 and 2006, is contained in the PDF file linked below. If a CID# is on the list the person it is assigned to DOES NOT need to retake the seminar. Those who complete the course in 2010 will not appear in the list. Anyone who took the course previously but has a CID# which does not appear below should contact division staff at 856-629-0552, 908-637-4125, or 877-2-HUNT-NJ (NJ only) to have their record(s) checked and customer profile updated as needed.
