The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish & Wildlife announces important check station changes and additions in Salem and Burlington counties for the 2001-2002 deer seasons. The following deer check stations will check in deer throughout all six deer seasons.
In Salem County, the Outdoor Experience in Pilesgrove Township, Salem County will no longer check in deer. Successful hunters should instead register their deer at North American Archery and Muzzleloader (Pole Tavern Circle), A&M Meats (Wolfert Station Road, Mullica Hill), or Bradway's Farm Market (Rt. 49, Quinton).
In Burlington County, New Gretna Munchies, located at the intersection of U.S. Route 9 and South Maple Avenue, has been added to the list of stations that will check in deer during the 2001-02 seasons. Business hours are 5 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
