SPRING TROUT STOCKING CANCELED IN SEELEY'S & ENGLISHTOWN MILL PONDS

For more information contact:

According to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife, Seeley's Pond in Union County and Englishtown Mill Pond (also known as Weamaconk Pond) in Monmouth County have been removed from the 2001 Spring Trout Stocking Schedule. The temporary cancellations are the result of current repair projects (dam repair at Seeley's and dredging at Englishtown Mill) requiring lowered water levels.

Spring stocking for these waters is expected to resume in 2002.
