DEER CHECK STATION ADDITIONS IN MORRIS AND WARREN COUNTIES

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish & Wildlife announces important deer check station additions in Morris and Warren counties for the 2002-2003 deer seasons. Hunters are reminded that they should check their deer at the nearest open station to the harvest location.

In Warren County, A&A Country Meats has been added to the check station program. A&A is located at 51 South Lincoln Avenue in Washington and will check deer during all seasons. A&A Country Meats is also a participating butcher in the Hunters Helping the Hungry program. They can be reached at (908) 689-1266.

In Morris County, Bordy's Outdoors has also been added to the check station program. They are located at 177 Columbia Turnpike (around back & downstairs) in Florham Park. They will check deer during all seasons and can be reached at (973) 966-8006. Please note that Bordy's is closed on Mondays.
