Deer Check Station Change in Hunterdon County

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife announces an important deer check station change in Hunterdon County for the 2003-2004 deer seasons. Hunters are reminded that they should bring their deer to an open check station nearest to where the deer was harvested.

The Corner Store, located at the junction of Routes 12 and 519 in Baptistown, will no longer be open as a deer check station. Hunters may instead check their deer at either Brown's Auto Body, 1173 Route 579 in Quakertown; Milford Napa Auto Parts, 1002 Milford-Frenchtown Road in Milford; or at Sportsman's Rendezvous, 174 Route 31 North in Flemington, all of which are open to check deer during every season.
