Court Cancels 2004 Black Bear Season
December 3, 2004
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife alerts bear hunters that the hunt scheduled for North Jersey on December 6-11, 2004 has been cancelled. In a decision late yesterday afternoon, the State Supreme Court ruled to cancel the hunt.
Those who intended to participate are reminded that the 2004 hunt was tentatively scheduled, as explained during the mandatory training seminars and printed directly on the permits issued to them.
