Hurricane Sandy Fisheries Disaster Information

Due to the recent destruction surrounding "Superstorm" Sandy, the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is developing an initial assessment of the damage to New Jersey's fishing industries and supported businesses. There are questionnaires linked below pertaining to damages incurred by the Party/Charter Boats (For-Hire sector), Bait and Tackle Shops/Marinas, Commercial Fisheries Vessel Captains/Owners and Commercial Fisheries Dealers.

Owners of businesses that fall into one of these categories should print and fill out the corresponding questionnaire and return it to the Division.
