Outstanding Deer Program Entry Period Extended

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is extending the Outstanding Deer Program application period by three weeks. The extension allows hunters to enter deer harvested during the 2015-16 hunting seasons until November 22.

Showcasing the fine quality deer produced in the Garden State, the program recognizes hunters with the skill - and good luck - to harvest these impressive animals. A score sheet completed by an official measurer, along with a photo taken on the day harvested, are all that's required to enter qualified deer.
