The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife recently proposed tentative dates for the 1999-2000 deer hunting seasons in New Jersey. The dates are not final and are meant to give sportsmen and women a general time frame to assist in scheduling their future recreation time.

"These dates won't become final until the Fish and Game Council approves them at the Public Game Code Meeting on June 1, but those who want to get a head start on scheduling vacation time can take advantage of the tentative planning information, said Division Director Bob McDowell.
