The 2016 spring wild turkey hunting season ran from Saturday, April 23 (Youth Turkey Hunting Day) through Friday, May 27, with a total harvest of 2,906 male wild turkeys. This harvest is a decrease of 137 birds (4.5%) from 2015. The table below contains data from 2011 to 2016 for comparison.
