NJ-GeoWeb: December 2011 Release

Barnegat Bay:

This profile has been developed as a customized version of NJ-GeoWeb for those interested in viewing mapped datasets of features that impact and monitor water quality in the Barnegat Bay watershed region. Users can click on a Barnegat Bay sampling project monitoring location and gain access to location information, determine which partner is performing the water quality and/or flow monitoring (tributaries only) at that location; and link to partner websites, photos of the sites, and water quality monitoring results.

Site Remediation Program (SRP) – Remedial Priority Scoring (RPS)

This profile has been developed as a customized version of NJ-GeoWeb for those interested in viewing SRP regulated site locations in relation to other mapped environmental datasets. The SRP RPS profile provides these mapped layers and tools to enable the regulated community to critically evaluate the RPS score determined for their site. Users can confirm the location of their site and evaluate potential nearby receptors.

New Features:

Searches:

• SRP - Preferred ID Search: A user can enter their Preferred ID and the application zooms to the site on the map.

• Barnegat Bay Water Quality Monitoring Sites – Feature's Identification Label attributes are hyperlinked to Water Quality Partner's websites, Flow Partner's websites and to additional images of the site itself.
• NJPDES Non-Point Source Regulated Facilities – Feature's Identification Label attributes contain links to Data Miner Reports for the site and also the Web URL to the site location on Bing Maps which shows additional imagery.
• Open Space Barnegat Bay (County, Municipal and Non-Profit) – Feature's Identification Label attribute contains links to internet websites for that site when available
• Open Space Barnegat Bay (State) – Feature's Identification Label attribute is hyperlinked to internet websites when available.
