Map Description:

Protected land, recreation, and the special superfund sites were brought together to represent special features of the Northern New Jersey Highlands area. The features contained in this map are: state, local, and other protected land, ski resorts, fishing areas, golf courses, and cleaned up superfund sites. The ski resort, fishing, and golf course data came from CRSSA, while the state, local, and other protected land area came from NJDEP data. The EPA’s website contains the most recent cleaned up superfund sites, and these areas were brought into our map as an important feature of this area. The map was entered into the software integration category because of the incorporation of Adobe Photoshop CS and ArcGIS 9.0 in the production of the final output.
