Original files supplied to NJDEP in UTM meters NAD83 and were edge matched by USGS. NJDEP converted the DEM's to lattices, merged the separate quad files into a single lattice and then projected the complete file into NJ State Plane coordinate system.

Map Description:

This sand painting was created using natural sand to depict digital elevation of New Jersey. The sand was collected during vacations, which Dnyanada and her colleagues took, to various places in America and India. 10 M digital elevation is used as a base to create this unique map.
