Map Description:

NJSAR has downloaded numerous *.dem, USGS *.tif files, MrSID images and maintains a comprehensive trail database. The GlobalMapper software accurately references each file despite the numerous different map datums involved. The attributes of each layer are then modified to provide a best image. Base layer incorporates Slope Shading to differentiate between low and high angle rescue criteria and Shed Analysis to determine RF communication coverage based on user-definable Transmitter and Receiver heights.
