Map Description:

This map started as a series of smaller maps to analyze the Atlantic City Expressway Uni-Directional Exit 5 area. The maps were completed for use with preliminary research for construction and completion of a Bi-Directional Interchange along the Atlantic City Expressway. Source data, such as landuse, population, zoning, attractions, and open space functioned as factors in the original map series. Later, as more data became available and/or developed, it was inserted into the study area for further research. The new data included: traffic volume projections, 2000 roadway development, smart growth data, and 2000 & 2002 aerials. Over the following years, these new map compositions became useful to additional data sharing agreement partners. As a result, a large format poster was created to display the extent of the findings.
