Map Description:

The procedure involves using the New Jersey Congestion Management System (CMS) program to identify the congested locations and save the file into Database file and also identifying the top accident locations in the state from the NJDOT traffic unit. The two files are imported to ArcMap for further analysis.

The output shows the High Congested Locations (v/c => 1.2); Medium Congested Locations (v/c 1.0-1.2); Low Congested Locations (v/c 0.9-1.0) and Seasonal Congested Locations. The map also shows the probable delays in minutes at High Congested Location and Top Accident Locations, and the Area with population density greater than 1000.
