My (Your) Workspace Page
The "My Workspace" (MW) page is your portal "control center". From here you can apply for a new LOI, revise an existing LOI and at some point extend an LOI which is expiring. (Extensions are not yet available.) (See a screenshot of the "My Workspace" page.)
The MW page is broken up into several sections as follows:
"Service Selection": You can choose a LOI or some other permit or license to apply for, depending on what services you have configured to appear. If you don't see the service you are looking for, click on the "Configure Services" button which will take you to the "My Services" page from which you can choose what services will appear in your "MW" page. (If you have any questions, you may call the help line at (609) 777-0454.)
"My Facilities/Program Interests": Provides you with information on facilities. You can add facilities using the "Add Facilities" button. You can hide this section, as you can any of these sections, by clicking on the arrow at the left side of the title bar.
"My Services - In Progress": During the E-LOI application process you may stop at any point (or if for some reason you are disconnected to the portal). If you return to the My Workspace page you will see under this section the application you were working on as a service that is "In Progress". You can click on that service and pick up from where you left off.
"My Services - Submitted": This area provides you with a list of the applications you submitted and information on each. Pay close attention to the "Status" column. It should say "Submission Successful". If it does not say this, especially if it says "Submission Failed -- Please contact DEP" than you should send an email to PortalComments@dep.nj.gov to find out what went wrong. When you send the email, please include the Service ID number (first column) so that the administrator knows which service failed.
This section also has Summary and History information for each application, as well as a copy of the "Submittal PDF" which you also should have received via your e-mail confirmation that the application was submitted successfully.
For the purposes of this guide, we are assuming that you came here to apply for a LOI, so assuming also that you have correctly added this service in the "Service Selection" section, you would then click on the "Apply for a Letter of Interpretation" link to proceed to the next step.
