PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The State Forest Service promotes the sound stewardship and conservation of public, private and community forest lands. The program monitors and assesses the health of our forest lands and assists municipalities with development of their tree resources.

MONETARY ASSISTANCE PROVIDED: 

Tree planting grants are available from the State Tree License Plate Fund or the No Net Loss funds

PERMITTING RESPONSIBILITIES:  

None
